Who We Are:

We are a small Stoa club in the Indian Trail/Charlotte area.

We focus on Lincoln Douglas and Parliamentary debate as well as speech events like apologetics and extemporaneous (current events).

Regular Meetings:

We meet Thursday evenings from 7-8:30 PM at Metrolina Christian Academy/First Baptist Church of Indian Trail.  Moms and dads of students are welcome to join us, too!

We plan to continue this meeting day and time for the 2018-2019 school year.

Open House:

We will be having an Open House on Thursday, May 3rd, 2018 at 7 PM at the Metrolina Christian Academy/First Baptist Church in Indian Trail if you would like to join us.  Students will be presenting short snippets of speeches and debates as well as sharing their experience in our club! Refreshments will be served and we will talk about our plans for next year!  For specific directions to the building where we meet, see below. For driving directions to the campus, please see the Contact Us tab or e-mail.

Summer Debate Camp:

We are also planning a 3-day summer debate camp held at Metrolina Christian Academy in Indian Trail.  Ethos Debate will be providing the instruction.  The cost will be $30 and will include instruction for 3 days. Dates will be coming soon!

Specific Directions to the Building:

We meet in Building D, a one-story red brick building, at the Metrolina Christian Academy/First Baptist Church of Indian Trail. This building is located on the back side of campus.  Please enter the campus on Gary Drive.  Continue until you see a grey building that looks like a house with large, red letter M’s on the side.  This is the school office.  Directly behind the school office is Building D.  Please enter the side door by the picnic tables under the pine trees.  We hope to see you there!
